The K_SECURITY_UNSUPPORTED environment variable is currently set in all the available ck-sources releases.

Could I obtain the procedure to follow ? a list of test to carry ? the description of the set of characteristics to guarantee ? a list of the devs to convince... well, whatever needs to be achieved in order to get rid of this setting.

The only supported kernel in Gentoo is gentoo-sources. This is the policy in Gentoo. This does not mean that other sources are vulnerable etc. Moreover, gentoo-sources is the only kernel patchset that is marked stable and the security team mostly focuses in the stable tree.
