recent masking of icu-50 caused a default downgrade to icu-49 which causes severe breakacge of packages already using an icu-50 that was installed. Unmasking the icu-50.1 ebuild cannot install due to a missing unicode-license.txt.bz2 file in the distfile. Reproducible: Always Why was icu-50 masked after it had been unmasked without a major warning. A note on the gentoo.org front page should be made! In any case, put the licence file in the distfile ASAP!
Do you have a build.org, a console output or something to show us what you mean? ps: do not change the severity of the bug yourself.
The icu missing file was fixed in the meantime as it was overlook on my side. Also the build was so broken it ruined quite few packages compilation so we decided to mask it, as is explained by the package mask, so i would say it was explained enough and if you can't read and use testing...
