Take a look at http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=77198 ; from what I gather
a patch in KDE CVS fixes the problem.

Mandrake has released a patch for their distro, and this
forum post http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?p=982277#982277 shows it is
possible to use this to fix the current kdelibs-3.2.1 with some wrangling.

Perhaps this path could be made "official" in the form of kdelibs-3.2.1-r1?
(Just a suggestion)

fixed in 3.2.2, now in portage.
