I'm experiencing an annoing problem with amarok's last.fm integration. My web radio sometimes stops and I have to exit amarok and open it again to be able to listen to it again. Reading upstream bug report, this is related to the use of phonon-gstreamer backend and was fixed on version 4.6.3. I'm going to bump phonon-gstreamer in a bit. In any case, the support for the latest liblastfm was added to amarok-2.7.0, so I would suggest you try that version.
I upgraded to amarok-2.7.0 since it has become avaiable in ~amd64, I also just upgraded to kde-4.10.0, and the problem is still present.

Yes, but you need to upgrade phonon-gstreamer as well. My comment about amarok-2.7.0 was about the general improvement regarding last.fm, not about this particular issue. I'll see if we can bump phonon-gstreamer soon.
Fixed in amarok-2.7 and/or phonon-gstreamer-4.6.3
