amd64 tested ok.

Since EAPI="2", I suggest that '|| die' is added to to epatch and eautoreconf in the src_prepare() function.

No, even on EAPI=2 epatch and eautoreconf will die by themselves. They always did even before the first implementation of EAPI came out.
