Description Kristian Jerpetjøn 2004-03-07 18:58:58 UTC
Im starting to write more documentation on clustering and the usage of clusters
REASON: the current documentation on diskless nodes and openmosix are not covering enough grounds
Also:
adding guide on using pvm, openMP,MPI diskless upgrade on using Etherboot & PXEboot together floppyboot and how to make a net bootable kernel and what problems this might create. such ass net.ethx is up but not registret so that network demanding applications might fail on bootup. Also a guide on using pvm-povray (the paralell raytracer) to test pvm and maybe somethings on openMP and MPI. also a guide on using openmosix to distribute in bash. simple multi MP3 and video.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.

contact me at this email adress and ill send over more info on my plans for this
documentation.
Also if someone is currently writing on this or want to join in please e-mail me

tnx in advance

Kristian: how are your efforts going?
Comment 3 Kristian Jerpetjøn 2004-04-26 02:03:33 UTC
The new diskless implementing both pxe and etherboot is nearly complete and available.
Have not started the next doc due to exams.

Kristian, how did your exams go? Also, are you still planning on working on this document? If not, could you invalidate it?
Comment 5 Kristian Jerpetjøn 2004-07-07 02:40:54 UTC
Sorry have not had enough time to get this project started hopefully i get more time off from school next year when i will be writing my masters. therefore i will invalidate this untill then.
