Description Nicholas Nam 2004-03-07 16:45:10 UTC
When I try to emerge net-analyzer/snort-2.0.6, I get:

 * Cannot find $EPATCH_SOURCE! Value for $EPATCH_SOURCE is:
 *
 *   /usr/portage/net-analyzer/snort/files/2.0.6-libnet-1.0.patch

!!! ERROR: net-analyzer/snort-2.0.6 failed.
!!! Function epatch, Line 182, Exitcode 0
!!! Cannot find $EPATCH_SOURCE!

Looking in the specified path, 2.0.6-libnet-1.0.patch does not exist.

Here is my emerge -vp snort:

net-analyzer/snort-2.0.6 +flexresp +mysql -postgres -prelude -samba +ssl

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge snort
2.
3.

Actual Results:
snort did not emerge and instead, emerge complained about a
missing.2.0.6-libnet-1.0.patch

Expected Results:
emerged successfully

Here is my emerge info:

The patch has been commited to CVS. I am terrible sorry for the inconvience caused.
