Radiance is a powerfull 3d renderin system, unreached when it comes to realistic light rendering. The sources are available for free non-commercial use at the moment and at december the first 2002 it'll even become open-source. I would like to see an ebuild for it. An example of the abilities of radiance: http://radsite.lbl.gov/radiance/book/img/cover.jpg
you mind making an ebuild and attaching to this bug reporT?
Florian?
howdy :) just had a look at the site. nice looking app. just one BIG problem. It's first of binary only and also requires registration to download. here is the details from their licence agreement .. You may use the Software solely at the address you provided to Berkeley Lab during the registration process; you may not transfer the Software without the prior written consent of Berkeley Lab; you may not allow the Software to be accessed over the internet; curios part is ... even if we have a ebuild .. are we allowing access to the software over the internet ?!?!?! Any comments ? Henti
Ok, this have been sitting here for a while, without ebuild submitted or even the legal issue resolved or having seen any comments. I guess I'll close the bug then. Please reopen it or even submit a new one if the situation changes (submission of an ebuild would be greatly appreciated, as well as will increase the priority of the bug ;)). George
