Created attachment 327138 [details] Errors during boot I'm getting bonding errors during boot when after upgrading kernel from 3.2.x to 3.4+. See attached screenshot for more info. I have no clue why this does not work anymore.

Probably because sys_bonding_path=/sys/class/net/"${IFACE}"/bonding was changed somehow.
1. Exactly what version of openrc are you running? 2. Can you please attach the output of: find /sys -ls
Tested openrc-0.11.3 with kernel 3.5.4 and I cannot replicate this error.
@Rob: also, please include the output of: grep bond0 /etc/conf.d/net If there is no response by 2012/11/10, this will be closed as RESO:NEEDINFO
the problem was solved by installing linux-firmware package. Must have something to do with specific nic's in servers: 05:00.0 Ethernet controller: Broadcom Corporation NetXtreme II BCM5708 Gigabit Ethernet (rev 12)
