Description Ulrich Müller gentoo-dev 2012-10-21 08:32:52 UTC
If there are no objections, I'll convert the emacs overlay to thin manifests on 2012-11-04.
Comment 1 Christian Faulhammer (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2012-10-21 19:14:23 UTC
No objections.

I'd also like to change the repo to signed git commits, instead of signed manifests, as soon as >=dev-vcs/git-1.7.9 goes stable. So layout.conf would look like the following (the last two lines being activated after git stabilisation):

   masters = gentoo
   thin-manifests = true
   use-manifests = strict
   manifest-hashes = SHA256 SHA512 WHIRLPOOL
   #sign-manifests = false
   #sign-commits = true
Comment 3 Ulrich Müller gentoo-dev 2012-10-24 22:48:24 UTC
Conversion to thin manifests done.
Leaving this bug open for the git commit signing.

With git-1.7.12.4 being stable on amd64 and x86, I've now enabled the commit signing:
