cdrdao needs libscg, which is part of app-cdr/cdrtools, but this dependency is not reflected in the ebuild which obviously causes emerge cdrdao to fail if cdrtools is not already installed. Regards, Tom
I changed the cdrdao ebuild some time ago to build with it's own libscg. I tested it (removed cdrtools and compiled cdrdao) and it works. If you still have problems, please let me know.
Problem still exists here. I have just installed a fresh system and cdrdao-1.1.8 does not compile because it's still missing libscg. I have seen cdrdao-1.1.7-r3 contains the dependency to cdrtools. But 1.1.8 still does not build without it so it's more a question of luck. i.e. when you emerge k3b (for example) (which depends on both, cdrtools and cdrdao) you might have luck and portage gets cdrtools first. Here it didn't. No problem, I knew what to do. But others might not.
Okay. I added again the dependcy on cdtools. The problems with cdrtools on 2.6 are also fixed, so that everything should work. Thanks for your patience.
