Hi

there is the latex - foiltex style. I usefull with lyx. I also did some
minor changes to eclasse/latex-package.eclass.
Please apply the attached patch.
I suggest app-text/latex-foiltex for the package.
I maybe may also a good thing to open a new categorie app-tetex an put
all tex stuff in it, tetex, lyx, ...

felix

I'm sorry, I don't feel qualified to handle this as it includes a patch to the
latex-packages.eclass and I've never even read it and don't know anything at
all about gentoo latex package installs or latex in general. My knowledge of
latex ends with lyx :-(
Comment 3 Felix Kurth 2002-07-03 14:26:48 UTC
As I know, only one package (latex-leaflet) are currently using
latex-package.eclass

this patch does very minor changes, it doesnt break anything
(latex-leaflet), i tested it.
Or may i ask the author ( Matthew Turk <m-turk@nwu.edu> ) for verifying ?

I would be realy good to put all tex stuff in a new category,
i suggest app-latex, app-text-tex, app-wordprocess...

Hi there. The LaTeX eclass I submitted to Seemant now corrects what you have submitted, as well as changing documentation installation to /usr/share/doc. However, there is still a problem with the ebuild - files with the extension .ins do not need to be installed as documentation; this is taken care of already in the eclass.
