Since there has been some interest in stabilizing packages that have dependency on dev-libs/vala-common, we ought to stabilize it, and those revisions of dev-lang/vala that do not collide with it: =dev-libs/vala-common-0.18.0 =dev-lang/vala-0.10.4-r2 =dev-lang/vala-0.12.1-r1 =dev-lang/vala-0.14.2-r2 =dev-lang/vala-0.16.1-r2 =dev-lang/vala-0.18.0 (all for: alpha amd64 arm hppa ia64 ppc ppc64 sh sparc x86)

jfyi: the build log is not completely verbose, at link time. --disable-silent-rules solves this issue, so when is possible port to eapi5 or add that option to econf. Thanks
