makefile from cvs is missing install target,
iaxyprov-cvs-makefile-install.patch adds it.

Dorian, please attach the ebuilds and patches as separate PLAINTEXT attachments.

The Manifest and digest are not needed, and tarballs are STRONGLY discouraged as attachments

iaxyprov-cvs-makefile-install.patch

patch to add install target to makefile, support destdir.

This is very poorly documented. I cannot confidently guess what it does or how to configure it.

The DESCRIPTION doesn't help that much. The HOMEPAGE you've listed and http://www.digium.com/ don't even list the iaxprov product.

Palming this off to voip.

PS Dorian as a reporter you will get all the email without needing to cc yourself on this bug.

(thanks dragonheart... seemant added me to the cc list, no idea why....)

digium haven't put out much info about iaxyprov; technically I don't think they are even selling iaxy yet. anyway, iaxyprov is a (very) small app that sets various properties on the iaxy device (which is an analog telephone adapter that uses the iax protocol). this build is probably not terribly useful to anyone except me right now, but other gentoo/asterisk users may find a need for it later this year.

usage is:

iaxyprov <ip> <file>

where <ip> is the ip address of the iaxy in question, and <file> is the path to some iaxy.conf file (sample file included in cvs), which should look something like this:

;
; IAXY Provisioning description
;
dhcp
;ip: 216.207.244.130
;netmask: 255.255.255.192
;gateway: 216.207.244.129
codec: ulaw
;codec: adpcm
server: 192.168.0.1
user: myuser
pass: mypass

Hello, The Gentoo Team would like to firstly thank you for your ebuild
submission. We also apologize for not being able to accomendate you on a timely
manor. There are simply too many new packages.

Allow me to use this opportunity to introduce you to Gentoo Sunrise. The sunrise
overlay[1] is a overlay for Gentoo which we allow trusted users to commit to and
all users can have ebuilds reviewed by Gentoo devs for entry into the overlay.
So, the sunrise team is suggesting that you look into this and submit your
ebuild to the overlay where even *you* can commit to. =)

Because this is a mass message, we are also asking you to be patient with us. We
anticipate a large number of requests in a short time.

Thanks,
On behalf of the Gentoo Sunrise Team,
Jeremy.
