# eix -H "http://www.kipi-plugins.org" brings up: - kde-base/ksaneplugin - kde-base/libkdcraw - kde-base/libkexiv2 - kde-base/libkipi - kde-base/libksane This homepage is no longer valid and belongs to a domain-grabber. The homepage of "media-plugins/kipi-plugins-2.9.0" itself is set to "http://www.digikam.org/". So I guess the other homepages should also be changed to "http://www.digikam.org/".
I note all of those packages are part of the KDE SC, so perhaps the default is better, thoughts?
Well, they're kind of part of the digikam suite, but these plugins are also rolled into kde-base/, so it could go either way. I'm personally fine with leaving them as the default KDE page.
As long it is distributed with KDE SC it should be the default homepage. Keep it simple keep it smart +1 for default.
Thanks for reporting, this is now fixed in CVS (portage) and git (kde overlay). Custom homepage dropped. Dropped LICENSE="GPL-2", which is set by eclass too. + 13 Oct 2012; Johannes Huber <johu@gentoo.org> libkipi-4.8.5.ebuild, + libkipi-4.9.1.ebuild, libkipi-4.9.2.ebuild: + Drop HOMEPAGE + LICENSE, handled by eclass, bug #438088. + 13 Oct 2012; Johannes Huber <johu@gentoo.org> libkdcraw-4.8.5.ebuild, + libkdcraw-4.9.1.ebuild, libkdcraw-4.9.2.ebuild: + Drop HOMEPAGE + LICENSE, handled by eclass, bug #438088. + 13 Oct 2012; Johannes Huber <johu@gentoo.org> libkexiv2-4.8.5.ebuild, + libkexiv2-4.9.1.ebuild, libkexiv2-4.9.2.ebuild: + Drop HOMEPAGE + LICENSE, handled by eclass, bug #438088. + 13 Oct 2012; Johannes Huber <johu@gentoo.org> libksane-4.8.5.ebuild, + libksane-4.9.1.ebuild, libksane-4.9.2.ebuild: + Drop HOMEPAGE, handled by eclass, bug #438088. + 13 Oct 2012; Johannes Huber <johu@gentoo.org> ksaneplugin-4.8.5.ebuild, + ksaneplugin-4.9.1.ebuild, ksaneplugin-4.9.2.ebuild: + Drop HOMEPAGE + LICENSE, handled by eclass, bug #438088.
