We host ISOs for several of the distributions at the above URL. Our tools allow users connected to fast research networks to get the ISOs very quickly (30-90 Mbps). We were asked by a Gentoo user to add Gentoo to the mix. So far, we have added the minimal LiveCD. If you would not mind, please add a link on your download page to the above URL and indicate that it is for Internet2 and other research networks.
I will forward this up to the head of Infrastructure. We currently use the http/ftp/rsync method of downloading releases, and do not officially support the method described on http://linux.dsi.internet2.edu, but I will keep you posted. Thanks.
