Steps to Reproduce:
LANG=en_GB.utf-8 emerge -av x11-drivers/nvidia-drivers
Actual Results:  
compilation fails :

Expected Results:  
emerge OK

If you want to use Nvidia's proprietary drivers, then you will need to wait for them to release a compatible version.

Solve exist already, even the user didn't report it :

Cannot reopen it, i hope one in the CC could.
