* If you upgraded from 2.4.1 or lower and use your own dictionary * files, you'll need to run: /usr/share/stardict/tools/stardict_dict_update the file isn't installed as executable --- /usr/share/gnome/help/stardict/C/ [...] >>> /usr/share/gnome/help/stardict/C/stardict.xml >>> /usr/share/gnome/help/stardict/mk/ [...] >>> /usr/share/gnome/help/stardict/mk/stardict.xml --- /usr/share/gnome/help/stardict/ru/[...] >>> /usr/share/gnome/help/stardict/ru/stardict.xml --- /usr/share/gnome/help/stardict/zh_CN/ [...] >>> /usr/share/gnome/help/stardict/zh_CN/stardict.xml LINGUAS="de" on my system, so why are (beside .../stardict/C/) the help files of the other languages installed?
please don't assign bugs yourself. this is not a package maintained by the gnome herd
sorry
i'm not sure about the linguas stuff, but as far as i can see, the stardict autoconf doesn't support LINGUAS for gnome help files. i've fixed the executable scripts problem in 2.4.2, but the fix isn't really important enough to bump the revision. i'm closing this as fixed now. the linguas problem either needs a patch to be sent upstream.
