=iscan-plugin-gt-x820/iscan-plugin-gt-x820-2.1.2.1 supports the Epson Perfection V600 and not the V500 as suggested in the ebuild DESCRIPTION.  The metadata properly refers to support for the V600 model.

Huh, hadn't noticed that.  The original ebuilds I submitted in bug 277117 had the right description, but for whatever reason this was changed in the revised ebuild submitted to bug 394403 that was subsequently added to portage and I just never noticed.

...all that said, thanks for pointing out the error.  I reviewed the ebuild and can confirm that it's only the the DESCRIPTION line that needs to be updated.

Since this is already in portage and it's such a minor change, I'm providing a patch against the current version rather than a new ebuild.  For a one-line change like this even that's probably overkill, but just want to be thorough.
