Comment 2 Seemant Kulleen (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-03-04 08:01:38 UTC
Jens, please don't attach tarballs. All we need is the ebuild file and any patches attached in PLAINTEXT format.

Thanks.

Plaintext-Ebuild

As requested, here's the plaintext-ebuild :-)

Sorry, won't happen again

Jens, a couple of comments.

First, thanks for reattaching :)

Second, please don't put the Maintainer in the headers -- /usr/portage/skel.ebuild contains the correct headers.

Third, you must specify at least virtual/glibc as a runtime dependency

Fourth, no need for the src_unpack function, portage does that automatically

Finally, the ./configure --options you wrote out in src_compile can be replaced with a simple econf
Comment 5 Alastair Tse (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-07-24 11:21:57 UTC
you seemed to be maintaining libidn, seems like 0.5.0 is also out in addition to this.
Comment 6 Caleb Tennis (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-08-05 19:26:03 UTC
in portage.
