has releng got a policy for deprecating profiles. The 1.4 ppc profile isn't deprecated yet because I don't know what policy on it is. Does deprecated mean 'we no longer support' or 'please upgrade'.

Does the deprecation automatically change make.profile symlinks or does it only display a message like: 'your profile is deprecated'
