There are very few tools that provide monitoring of OpenAFS file servers, partition/quota usage etc. A notable exception are the nagios plugins provided by Russ Allbery (see URL). These plugins also do a good job as command-line tools.
I find them very useful and would like to mention them here for possible inclusion in Gentoo.
