Description Karl Hakimian 2004-03-02 19:44:10 UTC
If the machine crashes, the file /var/state/nut/upsd.pid is left behind. Since the init script does not check for this file or clean it up, upsd will not properly start.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Start up upsd the normal way.
2.Crash your machine (left as an exersize for the user)
3.Try to start upsd

Actual Results:
[ !! ] when trying to start upsd and upsmon can't talk to the non existant upsd
daemon

Expected Results:
upsd should have started up.
