When trying 'emerge -DU world -pv' receive the following message:

maybe you should manually remove the xfce dirs from your portage tree and resync. these packages have been in portage for a month or more with no problems, something may have gotten corrupted during a previous sync on you machine.

Hi,
Emptied the xfce4, and xfce4-base portage-dirs then esync then emerge -DU world -pv.
Same error after portage re-sync-ing.
Then tried emerge 'xfce-base/xfce4' went OK.
emerge -DU world -pv - No more such errors.
Maybe it's due to some xfce4 previous masking in packages.mask don't know, but now SOLVED.
Rumen.
