The server 'ymer.uni-c.dk' has been added as a portage server for gentoo. It has a limit of 15 connections for rsyncd. The portage can be reached via rsync,http and ftp at ymer.uni-c.dk/gentoo/rsync . The server has a 100 Mbit/s which freely can used for updates.
Please inform me of any lack of configuration, or problems with my setup.
NB: I'm not using Gentoo so I've rewritten the scripts for FreeBSD 4.9 which is the host OS.

The server ymer.uni-c.dk now also has a distfile only source mirror.
The mirror can be accesed from 130.226.1.35, and in the near futre the name mirror.uni-c.dk, and gentoo.uni-c.dk

The structure of this distfiles mirror at http://gentoo.uni-c.dk/gentoo/ does not seem to follow our prescribed listing. Please compare to http://gentoo.oregonstate.edu/ and I will be happy to add you to our mirror listing. Thanks for helping out!
