The KDE application is introduced right here:

By the way, is there a nice tutorial somewhere on how
to roll your own ebuild script? I'd be willing to not
only ask for a feature here but also already propose a
working ebuild script.

Project looks like it isn't active anymore - going to WONTFIX out of lack of interest.
