Description Eamon McDermott 2004-02-29 22:57:35 UTC
This is a Perl extension for stripping HTML markup from text. Kinda useful, and it's a dependency of some of the scripts I'm working with.

Has no dependencies AFAIK.

Reproducible: Always

Added a new version of the ebuild; the previous listed the license as "ARTISTIC", but this doesn't appear to be the case (I copied another ebuild). The readme (http://www.perl.com/CPAN/authors/id/K/KI/KILINRAX/HTML-Strip-1.02.readme) lists the license as being the same as Perl's. GPL?

Normally, a perl module must be a dependancy before being added to the tree (see the Gentoo policy guide - we're not trying to dup cpan, just provide support). However, in this case HTML-Strip was a dep for an internal project, so it's been added. Enjoy :)
