Wow Jffnms-0.9.3 is in portage. FANTASTIC! Now can we get someone with basic postgresql knowledge to update the installation page ? http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/jffnms.xml You guys are AWESOME! Reproducible: Always Need the documents for jffnms to updated from 0.8.4 to 0.9.3, particularly the part related to postgresql.
can you give us any idea of what needs to be done?
Install the latest jffnms from portage. Use the old guide to configure jffnms, choosing the postgresql as the database. Use the jffnms install guide line by line, until it you find something missing or needs to be deleted or new syntax. Including but not limited to the use flags, syntax, sql/apache/etc new mods. When you have questions you cannot resolve, the jffnms dev , Craig is most keen to help: jffnms-users@lists.sourceforge.net Craig Small <csmall@enc.com.au> He'll also want to link in Gentoo on the jffnms install pages as a supported distro for jffnms. Jffnms is most definately worth the effort! hth, James

fixed the things related to the old unslotted versions of postgresql. the jffnms guide should now be up to date. if anyone has any more issues that require fixing, feel free to re-open the bug. thanks!
