Hello, below are a few proposals for the kde documentation. Move to wiki: - Meeting summaries (the meeting logs can stay in CVS) - http://git.overlays.gentoo.org/gitweb/?p=proj/kde.git;a=blob;f=Documentation/CODE (and rename it to coding style) - Everything under Hints and Troubleshooting Update: - Using sets - Cleaning up KDE The above two still mention kdeprefix and kde3, so one idea would be to move on the wiki their current form and update the relevant parts in the guide with less but useful info. - "How you can help" chapter. Remove references of the HT, and replace that with overlay access info, and full gentoo dev info/link Remove: - KDE HT subproject and documentation of it - KDE 3 part from KDE guide. The same text is in the front projspace, and that info is not so important nowadays to include it twice.

this http://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/KDEPIM-4.7_upgrade should also go under the KDE namespace, and I believe there should be a link in the kde guide (or in the kde projspace) pointing to those wiki articles

Nah, smaller pages are easier to maintain.
(In reply to comment #0) > - Using sets I was asked for clarification on that on IRC, I'm putting it here for reference. This section is totally irrelevant to kde, so either make it kde specific, or remove it completely, or move it somewhere else more appropriate and put a link in the kde guide

Whoever wants to run live ebuilds should be able to figure that stuff out. See it as kind of an entrance exam... (and noone else actually needs the sets, you should use metapackages.)
> Remove: > - KDE HT subproject and documentation of it Done by dilfridge/ago/creffet and replaced by kde-stable subproject.
The remaining parts of the KDE guide are covered by the wiki articles. Overlay stuff is in http://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/KDE/Overlay, sets stuff should be removed (see comment #9), and localization stuff is in http://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/KDE .

Thanks for that, I have removed the link to the guide in index.xml, and replaced kde4-guide.xml with a redirect to the wiki to avoid broken links.
Looks like all is done here.
