Current unmasked metalog is metalog-0.8_pre20031130.ebuild, however the software for this package cannot be downloaded metalog-0.8_pre20031130.tar.gz as it is an old nightly build, clearly no longer available.

Actual Results:  
!!! Couldn't download metalog-0.8_pre20031130.tar.gz. Aborting.

Successful!

You have the same problem with foomatic filters and foomatic engine.
