Did this happen to you? 

I read the kde blogs too, but it seems a very rare case that this happens. And we wont stabilize 4.9.0, so i would suggest to wait that 4.9.1 hits the tree.

I talked to Thomas Lübking and he said I should chose "stacking order" - which did not work because of bug #432036. The "experience" was quite extreme ;)
But - yes - it is a minor issue as there are several things that need to come together. (no windows open or all minimized, shell crashing, alt+tabbing)

Thanks all. KDE SC 4.9.1 is now in tree. Sync in some hours to get the change.
