Description Robert Baxter 2004-02-28 04:54:40 UTC
rsync6.ca.gentoo.org (209.47.158.135) is out of date and has been since at least the Feb. 20th when I emailed the mirror list. I am not sure how to check the actual timestamp, but the included URL demonstrates the problem.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. SYNC="rsync://209.47.158.135/gentoo-portage" emerge sync
2. SYNC="rsync://rsync1.us.gentoo.org/gentoo-portage" emerge sync
3.

Actual Results:
>>>
>>> SERVER OUT OF DATE: rsync://209.47.158.135/gentoo-portage

not helpful, i have mailed the mirror-list as i also run an rsync mirror and
received no response from the owner. There is also no contact information in the
motd.

I have removed this server from rotation and will be contacting the admin. Thanks for the heads up!

Cheers,
Jeffrey

Comment 3 Mike 2004-04-09 20:41:21 UTC
This rsync6.ca.gentoo.org mirror still seems to be part of the North American rsync rotation (North America: "rsync://rsync.namerica.gentoo.org/gentoo-portage"). Would it be possible to remove this server from the North American rotation also?

Thanks,
-Mike
