attached is lsh-1.4.1.tar.bz2 containing ebuild and digest file. lsh is a free implementation of the ssh version 2 protocol, being written in Europe and distributed under the GNU General Public License. ssh uses cryptographic techniques to enhance the security of everyday distributed computing tasks such as file transfers, remote logins and remote command execution. It's intended as a (more) secure alternative to the likes of telnet, ftp, rsh, rlogin and rexec - and one which requires much less effort to set up than Kerberos or IPSEC currently do. lsh is a replacement for openssh. I would suggest net-misc/lsh, because openssh uses net-misc too.

liboop is a dependency of lsh.
Is there really a good reason for this package? Real implimentation would require a lot of work, and currently this is listed as a WIP and has no documentation on site. Bug 4316 looks good but I have no reason to add it without this package. Missing zlib dep. This bothers me: LSH IS A WORK IN PROGRESS. IT WILL NOT PROVIDE ANY SECURITY ON SYSTEMS THAT LACK /dev/random. THERE MAY BE OTHER SERIOUS BUGS THAT MAKE IT TOTALLY INSECURE.
Well, as OpenSSH had some pretty hard security problems in the last day, iam searching an alternative for that one. Would you call OpenSSH bug free? Or non-WIP ?
Update this if there is an update and I'll do the work to add it in as a virtual when the freeze is over. Sorry if I seemed to blow this off. I wasn't sure how we wanted to handle this, and then I got side tracked on a few other projects then the freeze started. There's also the libloop or something too.
