Description Julian Ospald 2012-08-17 23:51:53 UTC
The handbook tells us bash would be fine which seems to only apply to bashlayout-1 according to some voices in #gentoo-dev

They should all be posix compliant now. The handbook does not make it clear that bash syntax is not allowed at all anymore.

mmm, no, POSIX is *not* required. it's highly encouraged.

if maintainers really need bash, we don't ban it.
