bug filed in wrong place, have you tried other kernel sources and does that remedy the problem?
Comment 2 Seemant Kulleen (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-03-07 20:11:06 UTC
do you have dma turned on? (use hdparm)
Comment 3 duoduo 2004-03-07 22:34:25 UTC
yes, i turned on dma.

it also occured on 2.6.3-mm3 kernel
but disappeared on 2.6.3-mm4 kernel
Comment 4 Tim Yamin (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-03-13 07:39:21 UTC
Solving as FIXED since this has gone in 2.6.3-r4; the latest 2.6.3 branch. If you still get this with 2.6.4 would you first try out development-sources - if you don't get an issue with those; please file a bug with Andrew Morton. If development-sources also choke for you; please file a bug at http://bugme.osdl.org.

Thanks!
