Description Sergey Kuleshov (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-02-27 11:14:26 UTC
amule (at least versions 1.2.4 and 1.2.5) will not compile if wxGTK was build with unicode USE flag.Versions prior to 1.2.3 used to chack for this, but then it al over sudden disapeared.

I am not mainataining amule, so I don't know what was the reason to remove this check. If it was accitedntial, could you plz comment here, and then I can put it back.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. ACCEPT_KEYWORDS=~x86 USE="unicode" emerge wxGTK amule
Actual Results:
Observer a lot of compilation errors in amule.

Expected Results:
Gues :)

I'll use the same fix as I made for another ebuild... now I just have to find what ebuild that was...

in portage... there was a check there, but it was partially broken and not in all ebuilds...
