He's been contributing updates and fixes for OpenAFS (which we've needed a full time maintainer for for a while, but none of the other candidates wanted to commit to it). He's also re-writing our OpenAFS guide. Ryan Phillips will be his maintainer. The basic steps Jon: 1. read all the policy documentation on the website 2. Learn about tools like repoman and echangelog from Ryan 3. Get yourself on IRC, register your /nick and contact me 4. Mosey on over to http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/devrel and give that a read. 5. When you're familiar with policy and tools (steps 1 & 2), send your answers for http://dev.gentoo.org/~avenj/quiz to recruiters@gentoo dot org 6. Send us your SSH pubkey (DSA) -- please make sure it is encrypted with a passphrase 7. Sign the copyright doc that you'll find on the devrel website to recruiters as well 8. Make sure all your email communications are GPG signed

I haven't heard back from him for quite some time... I'll close the bug, looks like we still need an openafs developer.
Changing bug resolution to LATER.
