Created attachment 321140 [details] emerge --info Both stable, app-emacs/jde-2.4.0.1 and app-emacs/cedet-1.0.1 does not work together. Starting JDEE in emacs (M-x jde-mode) shows following error: "JDEE requires a version of CEDET between 1.0beta2 and 1.0 (found 1.0.1)" This applies also to app-emacs/jde-2.4.1_pre20110622. When cedet is uninstalled jde-2.4.1_pre20110622 starts fine (and probably also 2.4.0.1 but the ebuild pulls app-emacs/cedet so I did not tested it). A kind of a bummer is that app-emacs/ecb depends on cedet-1.0.1 so it is not possible to use ECB with JDEE.
Does it work if you set jde-check-version-flag to nil?
It starts with error: "Error in menu-bar-update-hook: (void-function semantic-format-prototype-tag-java-mode)" But it seem to work. Although I can not say if it is functioning properly since I have no experience with JDEE; just wanted to start using it. (I am talking about version 2.4.0.1 here.)
