faad2 2.0 is out.. renaming the rc3-r1 ebuild works, except that the Makefile is wrong.. at the end, the "rpm" section has spaces instead of tabs... 

There is a bug in the included libmp4v2, so you need to apply the attached patch to ${S}/common/libmp4v2/mp4file.h ..  And you should add a block for mpeg4ip, otherwise it will be built using mpeg4ip's libmp4v2 so mpeg4ip becomes a dep...

my build broke because rc3 was installed, can you reproduce that ? I have to look into that.
