Created attachment 320846 [details, diff] qt-qui-4.8.2.ebuild.patch When installing qt-gui using dbus flag, qdbusviewer, a tool to monitor dbus, is installed, but the associated icon isn't.
The icon is embedded inside the .qrc resource file, there's no need to install it separately, since there's no desktop file for qdbusviewer. What is the issue you are experiencing?
Some releases before, ebuild was installing the icon, but the icon embedded in the resource file isn't very nice to be associated in a menu. There's also a lot of people using windows manager, menu application, ..., that still do not know about .desktop files,

Note that there's also a 128x128px version of the icon, that should be even better, right? > There's also a lot of people using windows manager, menu application, ..., > that still do not know about .desktop files, There's no .desktop file for qdbusviewer, so I don't know what you're talking about...

That was just my reply to comment 1 > there's no need to install it separately, since there's no desktop file for qdbusviewer. I don't think there's need for a desktop file, else I would have add a make_desktop_entry in the patch. Maybe some other people will fill the need fot it, but it's not very important for this "bug". Fixed without revbump. Thank you for the report.
