AFAIK only americans use the weird MMDDYY date format... weirdoes :) (no offense anyone :)
Comment 3 Donnie Berkholz (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-02-26 08:01:57 UTC
If you actually type the name of the month, or use standard YYYMMDD format, even we Americans can figure it out. =)

what's going on with this one? so far we have no quiz, copyright, or anything like that. All of that stuff needs to be sent to recruiters@gentoo.org
Comment 7 Clay Culver 2004-03-15 19:05:39 UTC
I suppose I should have posted this here earlier. As I told Heinrich Wendel, I'm an undergrad at my University and I'm currently doing research with the chair of the math department. Right now we have a paper that was supposed to be submitted to be published on the first of this month (but it's running WAY late). Everything has to be out the door by this thursday. I've been spending my time almost exclusivly on finnishing that up for the last few weeks.

I have read through all of the documentation on the developer page, though I havn't had enough time to go bug-hunting. You can basically consider friday the start of my trial period, since once this paper is out the door I'm focusing on Gentoo. =)

Any other questions feel free to e-mail me directly.

Clay

That's no problem Clay, we just change the probationary period:

begins 19th March 2004, ends 2nd April 2004

We need a quiz for you. You can get the quiz info and url from lanius. Also if you have any questions, since he is your mentor, he can help you with any problems you may have. Lanius, make sure that he gets this info as well as the copyright form that he needs to sign.

Clay, Lanius, what's the status here?
Comment 11 Clay Culver 2004-04-11 14:39:26 UTC
I've been too busy with school and work to commit enough time as a gentoo developer. I'll still be around on buzilla when I have the time (especially over the summer), but you should close this but. I simply don't have enough time to commit to gentoo.

I appreciate your response. If you have the time at a later date, and would like to become a developer, please feel free to reopen the bug.:)
 Thanks!
