Proposed Ebuild for Gnome-crontab 0.05

Gnome-crontab is a graphical Crontab editor for Gnome.
It is written in Perl and allows for quick and easy changes of crontabs.

It depends on Gtk-HandyCList (perl module) and I have included the ebuild for
this perl module in the attachment as well.

It also depends on perl-gtk and locale::maketext, both ebuilds are already in
the portage tree.

not exactly a inspiring version number, i'd rather wait till it is more mature
Comment 3 Xavier Spriet 2004-02-27 06:10:00 UTC
Anyway, it's your call, but please do take the following points in considerations:

- a simple `find . -name '*-0.0*' | wc -l` in /usr/portage returns over 880 ebuilds with similar version numbers...

- The app was already supported in RedHat 9

- It has been stable wherever I've tested it...

- It is in alpha-stage, but mostly because it has been mostly tested on standard cron file formats. An addition of this package in the portage tree (but masked) would likely promote testing for this package and feedback to the developer.

Anyway, I'll let you know if I see a stable build in the next few months.

Thanks,

~Xavier
