on my machine (x86) mesa-8.1 without ident builds fine and works fine too for about 1 week
So the options are 1. keep indent as hard dependency 2. let configure automagically detect it 3. patch build system to make indent configurable
indent dependency removed, since it only indents compiled code and not installed headers.
