Can you please attach Makefile.rej? It should be somewhere in /var/tmp/portage/gentoo-sources-2.4.20-r13/work...

Sorry! Find NO Makefile.rej in /var/tmp/portage/gentoo-sources-2.4.20-r13/work
!!
something wrong in /addpatches in patches-2.4.20-gentoo-r11.tar.bz2
seems to be something wrong that ./addpatches in
patches-2.4.20-gentoo-r11.tar.bz2 can't apply patch to Makefile in

Does the patching fail on a newer kernel as well?

gentoo-sources-2.4.19-r11.ebuild ok
gentoo-sources-2.4.20-r7.ebuild ok
gentoo-sources-2.4.20-r14.ebuild failed

gentoo-sources-2.4.26_pre5.ebuild ok
gentoo-sources-2.4.26_pre6.ebuild ok

Seems to be OK with newer kernel...
Comment 8 Jason Cox (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-04-13 22:54:44 UTC
Patching works fine now. Only one kernel failed to patch properly.
Comment 9 maxwang_tw@yahoo.com 2004-04-20 03:02:57 UTC
I remove '-crypt' from USE FLAG in my make.conf and no more failure occurs.
