Does the patching fail on a newer kernel as well?
gentoo-sources-2.4.19-r11.ebuild ok gentoo-sources-2.4.20-r7.ebuild ok gentoo-sources-2.4.20-r14.ebuild failed gentoo-sources-2.4.22-r3.ebuild ok gentoo-sources-2.4.22-r4.ebuild ok gentoo-sources-2.4.22-r5.ebuild ok gentoo-sources-2.4.22-r7.ebuild ok gentoo-sources-2.4.25.ebuild ok gentoo-sources-2.4.26_pre3.ebuild ok gentoo-sources-2.4.26_pre5.ebuild ok gentoo-sources-2.4.26_pre6.ebuild ok Seems to be OK with newer kernel...
Patching works fine now. Only one kernel failed to patch properly.
I remove '-crypt' from USE FLAG in my make.conf and no more failure occurs.
