Description Martin Klebermass 2002-06-28 06:45:59 UTC
Hi!

Please find attached tpop3d-1.4.2.ebuild.gz containing tpop3d-1.4.2.ebuild

tpop3d is a small fast and extensible pop3 Server with support for Maildir,smtp
after pop,mysql and has a good support for virtual domains.

I suggest net-mail/tpop3d

Also, this ebuild depend on glibc, and depending what authenticaion mechanism u
use on mysql,ldap,pam or perl. When u want to use libwrap it also depends on tcpd.

Any Problems with the package ?
Comment 4 Seemant Kulleen (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2002-10-20 14:30:03 UTC
we have a freeze on adding new ebuilds into portage currently, until we can
stabilise the existing packages. please bear with us for a little while longer
-- we will add this soon :)
Comment 5 Martin Klebermass 2003-01-02 06:58:38 UTC
any plans for adding it, or are problems with the ebuild?
Comment 6 Nick Hadaway 2003-01-19 04:38:30 UTC
net-mail/drac-1.12 and
net-mail/tpop3d-1.4.2 have been added to portage.
I used your ebuild as a base and *robustified* it a bit. Please check it out and VERIFY this bug if it meets your standards :) REOPEN this bug if have any problems.
Comment 7 Martin Klebermass 2003-02-01 05:39:38 UTC
Im not 100% sure about the
DEPEND FLAGS
but doesnt there has to be an emtpy space between the () and the version
definition
( eg pam?    ( >=sys-libs/pam-0.75) should be pam?    ( >=sys-libs/pam-0.75 )
)
I got some errors with this.
Beside this
there arent the
KEYWORDS defined.
I hadnt added this when i submited the ebuild because there is some time left
between i submitted the bug and now ;) (and at the time of submission the
KEYWORD tag wasnt in the ebuilds yet)

(reopening doesnt work with Konqueror here, have a look at this problem later ;) )
Comment 9 Nick Hadaway 2003-02-04 05:13:16 UTC
I have added tpop3d-1.4.2 to portage with the DEPEND stuff fixed and added KEYWORDS...

If you are having trouble connecting to the pop server and it is something wrong with the gentoo ebuild, please supply this information.
