Description Daniel Armyr 2004-02-24 15:12:01 UTC
In everal of the windows of dc-gui the view consists of several columns, eg the search-results window lists username, filename, slots, hub etc in separate columns. Unfortunately, after upgrading to 0.80, the hub column is maximized hiding all the other columns from view. This may possibly be a general gtk bug.

you cant resize it ?

it's been a while since i used direct connect ... have a public server i could test with ?
Comment 2 Daniel Armyr 2004-03-02 05:41:28 UTC
There is no need to connect to a hub. Start dc_gui2, and look under the "Connect" tab (the first, default one). Int the window of hubnames the column named "#ULs" covers the entire field. To the far right the border of said column can bee seen, and moving the mouse over it causes the pointer-graphic to change to a resize, but no resizing is possible. The same symptoms avre visible under all the hub-list sub-tabs as well as under the main "Find" tab.
Comment 3 SpanKY gentoo-dev 2004-03-27 23:50:57 UTC
hmm, this seems to have broken from 0.78 to 0.79
Comment 4 Daniel Armyr 2004-08-01 06:26:20 UTC
The problem seems to persist in 0.8.
Comment 5 Daniel Armyr 2004-08-01 06:31:56 UTC
In addition it persists even after an 'emerge dc-gui -e'. Upon start, the following is reported to the console (I am tunnling X over ssh):
Xlib: extension "RENDER" missing on display "localhost:10.0".

OK, I posted this bug like a year ago. Am I the only one using this program or am I the only one experiencing this bug? I have neither exotic architecture, nor exeotic setup in other regards....
Comment 7 Grzegorz Herman 2004-12-20 00:54:10 UTC
The columns really are maximized. Only it IS possible to resize them. You just have to drag the LEFT edge of a column.
Comment 8 Daniel Armyr 2004-12-25 03:58:48 UTC
That was the workaround.
