I just installed 'unreal tournament' and 'unreal tournament 2003' and wanted to start a dedicated server. I recognized that both installes using the same file: /usr/games/bin/ucc. This is bad, because the second install overwrites the first one. Wouldn't it be better to make something like this: /usr/games/bin/ucc-ut and /usr/games/bin/ucc-ut2003? Maybe ut2004 is going to use this file too. There must be a solution for this (and don't give the advise to make it by hand ;-) I want to have a clean system!)
damn! i should have made a "newline" in between the text :-(
Actually, we should probably just remove the /usr/games/bin/ucc altogether from the system, as the only thing that will use it would be mods, which will be specific to an installed version anyway. SpanKY, wanna remove it from ut and I'll do ut2003?
roger, i'll do it in a bit
you are damn fast! ;-)
Fixed in CVS for ut2003-2225-r1, which I also marked stable.
ut is now fixed also
