Hi attached you will find an ebuild for qtfprot and a patch to make it work with gentoo's f-prot installation QtFprot is a KDE frontend for FPROT, a free (for personal use) Linux virus-scanner. Version 0.2.1b of qtfprot is the one ported to kde 3.2. If there is interest I could provide an ebuild for 0.2.1 (the kde 3.x version as I understand it) as well. As one can imagine this ebuild depends on f-prot >=4.3.0 and kde 3.2. regards THE

(this is an automated message based on filtering criteria that matched this bug) Hello, The Gentoo Team would like to firstly thank you for your ebuild submission. We also apologize for not being able to accomendate you on a timely manor. There are simply too many new packages. Allow me to use this opportunity to introduce you to Gentoo Sunrise. The sunrise overlay[1] is a overlay for Gentoo which we allow trusted users to commit to and all users can have ebuilds reviewed by Gentoo devs for entry into the overlay. So, the sunrise team is suggesting that you look into this and submit your ebuild to the overlay where even *you* can commit to. =) Because this is a mass message, we are also asking you to be patient with us. We anticipate a large number of requests in a short time. Thanks, On behalf of the Gentoo Sunrise Team, Jeremy. I'm closing this bug because of following reasons: - f-prot is hardmasked for security, upstream dropped linux support - qt3 has been removed from portage - kde3 has been removed from portage - no new upstream releases
