Description Ed Catmur 2004-02-23 21:35:28 UTC
In xscreensaver-demo list.

No evident license - appears to originally have been an academic work.
Ebuild assumes kernelspace is Linux as opposed to Iris.
The attached vroot.h is identical to any of the copies floating around the Web; it has fairly standard as-is license.

Alastair, what's your comment on those ebuilds? should we make them PDEPEND of xscreensaver or something like that?
Comment 4 Alastair Tse (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-04-12 16:26:52 UTC
i don't think they need to PDEPEND xscreensaver. i think we should handle these similar to rss-glx.
Comment 5 David Blue 2004-06-27 10:56:35 UTC
This one works for me on x86. Though I don't get a preview in xscreensaver-demo without clicking the preview button.

seems didn't find a maintainer for gentoo (yet), if there is one, feel free to
reopen

also don't current desktop envs support this out of the box?
