Description nehex 2012-07-16 15:25:40 UTC
There is mudraw, mupdfclean, mupdfextract, mupdfinfo, mupdfshow, not mupdf! I tried to emerge with "vanilla" flag - same result. But I didn't enable X flag.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge app-text/mupdf-1.0
2.run mupdf
3.
Actual Results:
"-bash: mupdf: command not found" message

Expected Results:
Running mupdf

/usr/bin/mupdf needs X11 to display the pdf.

You can configure app-text/mupdf to either have /usr/bin/mupdf (USE flag X enabled) and depend on x11 libraries or to not depend on X11 libraries and therefore not having /usr/bin/mupdf.

app-text/mupdf[-X] is for headless servers w/o X11 support and only provides the extract/convert binaries, not relying on X11.
